[Pro] Adding Universal google analytics code

Where should the google universal script be placed on the page? I am using code buddy and have added just after the and the the code just shows up at the top of the page. Not sure where it is best to put the script?

There is an action for it. I apply this to the project folder via Page → Folder-Actions.

But isn’t that the old way, adding the tracking ID number? Does google track all of your pages and give you stats on each page? The universal script is the most up to date, correct?

I’m pretty convinced of - cause I know the simple rules of structure, semantic and SEO. But perhaps it could be even better just because Softpress left me with odd stuff - who knows? One thing for sure: If I doubt, the first thing I do is to have a quick google - something like:

“Preferred place for GA code”
