Need some advice here. As some of you know, I was trying to add a blog to my site. I ended up not doing it. However, I still want to do it. Does it make sense to just start one on blogger or wordpress?
I don’t care if it’s not connected directly into my site. I’ll have links on their to my pages.
I was running into a lot of problems trying to get the blog to look like it was my site.
I know Pulse has the blog option plugged in, but i don’t want to redo my site over, and rather just do a quick setup on wordpress or blogger.
Would having the blog disconnected to my site lower my reputation?
Well, I dont want to incorporate it. That was my problem before. Now, I just want to have one, if it won’t hurt my image with not having it directly connected to my site
Are you a professionally compensated web designer? Sorry if I haven’t been paying attention.
Even so, you probably won’t get any stones cast by me. I’m not even sure blogs count as websites. Besides, if your blog is interesting - who cares?

I got it installed right, I was just having trouble with the wordpress side of it. I am not great with wordpress and someone was helping me and it kept reverting back to old settings. Which is why I did not decide to go through with it.
Been doing web design since February, so not as proficient as others, which is why I’m asking for opinions
I can’t say for certain but I would suspect there may be more SEO juice to be squeezed from the blog residing on the same domain as the rest of the site vs. hosting it elsewhere. But I’ve been wrong before.
