I have a very basic page with separate textboxs (2) and a single small graphic. The layout works fine in IE, Safari, Chrome, Opera but in firefox the text line spacing is larger than the other browsers forcing me to adjust my graphic downward. I originally had all the text and graphic in one textbox (graphic box inserted) and again all was fine except for Firefox on MAC. Firefox on windows is fine although the font is slightly different.
I am sure I am making a simple beginners error. I just can’t figure it out.
Interesting that is looks the same. If I do a 1x(-) or 1x(+) in firefox the spacing gets better but not the same as in all other browsers. To compensate for Firefox, I split the text and graphics and placed the graphic and second text box lower so it is tight against the text in Firefox rather than overlapping. That of course created a wider gap (but acceptable) in all other browsers.
I set up a quick site to post the clip I made of 4 browsers aligned side by side at the same zoom (100%)
