[Pro] Alt Text?

Is there a standard labeling format for the Alt Image tag?

In other words, if I have a photo of a building, would I call it Building Image or Building Photo?

What about links? If I have an Apple logo that links to Apple, Inc (www.applec.com), would I label that Apple Logo or Apple, Inc. or Apple, Inc. Link?

Just trying to standardize my labeling.

“Building Photo” is hardly descriptive and sort of redundant - the img tag
already declares it to be an image or “photo” to non-visual readers. Visual
readers will intuitively know it is a photo. Why not use something more
caption-like, as in “the Emirates Palace Hotel, located in the capital city
of Abu Dhabi” ??

One benefit is that slideshow solutions which use the alt tag to display
captions will have great captions. The other obvious benefit is richer
content.
