[Pro] anchors in a scroll box possible??

I didnt like the look of the very long page that I had for “how to order” so I shortened the box and set overflow to “scroll”.

Now my anchors and links dont do anything.

Is there a way to make this work?

One peculiarity is that if I come in from another page, to one of the anchors in the scroll box… it works.

So I was thinking, is there a way to make the buttons that link to the anchors reload the page as well?

any suggestions? thanks : )

Can you post a link to the page? Anchors certainly do work the way you
seem to want them to, and can be used to navigate a scrolling panel,
even one whose overflow is set to “hidden” instead of “auto” or
“scroll” – that part is not broken in any browser I know of.

This is hand-coded plain HTML, no JavaScript or other tricks needed or
used.

(note that FAQ actually goes to another page) the others are links to anchors within the scroll box. but if you go to the FAQ link and then try one of the other buttons it works for some reason.

thanks for having a look

Minor detail - but one that may cause confusion to some visitors.

The button says ‘Ready to Order’ but the sub head says ‘Ready to Get Started!’

Cant check the anchor thing other than deffo not work on iPad

Thanks dave… good point. I created the buttons while someone else wrote the copy. GOOD CATCH!

Still no luck on the buttons though : (

I even rebuilt the whole html box and repasted and formatted text, re-applied the anchors and links and no go…

Weirder still, a couple of the buttons did work but only if I clicked on them twice! I just cant figure out what I am doing wrong. I can see from Walter’s link that it is possible in its simplest form, but something that I have added or I’m doing is messing it up.
