Hi, put up a website in haste and looking at the pages file names, they don’t make much sense. They are almost the same with only the last letter being different.
Question, is there any ramification in going back in and renaming the file names?
It will help me in knowing them, does this impact SEO in anyway?
Will Freeway replace the ‘page’ on the hosted server or will it treat the new name as a different page and upload it too?
I think from what I’ve seen so far, I’ll have to redo links.
Any other gotchas or reasons not to change the file names and leave them as Freeway named them?

Interesting, I thought this file name had to be 16 characters. I’m gathering you use the - as no spaces are allowed . I could see how this would impact SEO. Thanks for all the great answers and feedback.

Try opening the Document Setup (File menu > Document Setup…) and selecting the Output Tab… you can change the max filename length there. Mine is set to 64, which works well for my needs.
