[Pro] Anyone know how to do this (favicon related or not)..

Hi,

On my Android phone I visited a company’s site…

When I saved the shortcut of this site to the desk on my Samsung phone, it was a special round icon. It was not like if I have MY website as a shortcut, that (looks like the generic shortcut flag with the favicon inside).

This was an actual ROUND icon and it is like a downloaded shaped app icon but it is not an APP, it is the website.

Does any website designer out there do this for your websites, and is this related to favicon or is it much more complex?

Just a quick guess, I may be wrong: I saw something in the wordpress world as plugin:

Create and install your favicon for all platforms: PC/Mac, iPhone/iPad, Android devices, Windows 8 tablets…

In FW I use the favicon action and the iOs Homescreen Icon action, but I don`t know others.

But when you use it, and the person saves the shortcut, what does it look like? favicon or actual shaped icon??
