I wonder, Walter, can the scriptylightbox action be used inside one of the HTML layers?

Absolutely. Just follow the instructions for setting up ScriptyLightbox - select a graphic box, apply ScriptyLightbox action, apply Graphic Link to File action, configure Graphic Link to File action - and you’re done.

ScriptyLightbox can be applied to any graphic. The info on ActionsForge.com might seem to imply that it should be used with graphic items that are inline in an HTML box, but that’s not necessary. It does, however, indicate a more efficient method: put your graphics inline or as child objects within an HTML box and apply the ScriptyLightbox action to that HTML container. (Which could be a Carousel Pane.) Then all that needs to be applied to each graphic is the Graphic Link to File action.

Keith, thank you so much for this! I’m printing it out as we speak. This is exactly the step-by-step information that’s so fundamentally helpful to people trying some of the actions that at least at first blush often appear more complicated than they turn out to be.

(An aside: As a “for-instance” of the latter, I’ve been fooling around for more than a full day now with how best to take care of using rollovers with HTML layered text boxes. Not as straightforward as it would seem. I live for the moment someone provides a step-by-step or video tutorial for that one.)
