[Pro] Automatic Lightbox (scripty lightbox 2)

Hi, I’m working for a client who wants a lightbox to pop up automatically with a field so people can sign up to her newsletter.

I’ve managed to add a button which makes the newsletter signup appear using scripty lightbox 2, but that’s as far is I can get…

is there actually any way for the lightbox to appear automatically when the page is opened.

I’d like the box to open automatically when the page is opened.

Not with ScriptyLightbox2, but you can do this with Paul Dunning’s excellent Spawn New Window Action in its iPad mode. That does a slightly different visual effect – the overlay “whites out” the page while the popup is showing. But overall, the two should be very similar in effect.
