[Pro] Background Colour TILE?

Can you make the background colour tile?

I want to tile a different colour half way down my page, I can do this using a 1px X 10px graphic & tile both H,Z!

But can I do this via using a BG colour in my inline design & maek it TILE!!!??

Background colors (coded with #123456 sort of code) are all flood-fill, all the time. They always expand in the X and Y axes and cannot be constrained to a certain part of the item they are applied to.

Hmmm thought so!

Guess it will have to be a clever BG image spanning the depth of my page 1px wide & tiled H!!!

1px wide & tiled H!!!

Better to use a larger width 25px? - less server calls.

I would definitely use an image that is at least 25px in the tiling direction. 1px forces the browser to do a LOT of math. Browsers are really fast these days, but it’s best to save that power for more important things.
