[Pro] Background shift

On my master page I ave set up a background color with image. The image is set to Horizontal: center and Vertical:bottom with pass-through and scrolling checked. When I go to preview the content page using this master the image moves to the top and the background color moves to the bottom. My working screen shows the correct positions. Does anyone know how I might fix this issue?

It really helps if you can publish this problem page to an online server
location so we can read the code Freeway Pro is producing and reconcile
what might be happening. Otherwise, we are guessing.

My guess is that FWP has misinterpreted your intention.

In my experience, this is often exacerbated by the misleading nature of
FWP’s working environment, which appears as a “page”. Say it with me Matrix
fans - “There is no Page”.

When nothing is selected in the workspace, the FWP Inspector (Page
Appearance pane) shows color and image controls for the “Window Background”
and the “Page Background” - which can be greatly confusing even to people
who know what is supposed to be happening. The first applies to the “body”
element - which is everything in the browser window, the second applies to
a special container (div) FWP invisibly creates to try and hold the content
you create in the workspace (also known as the “PageDiv”).

I’ve also seen some people try to draw backgrounds onto the workspace -
which makes perfect sense if you buy into the whole “desktop publishing”
fiction, as that is how you would do it in a print-centric graphic
paradigm. Canvas might be a better way to name it, but that word already
means something in the web design world. Anyway, that is wrong also.
Wronger, even.

So with that in mind, if you want to fill the browser window with a color
or an image - Window Background in the Inspector’s Page Appearance Pane. If
you want to affect an area within the browser window onto which you want to
place the content from your workspace - then Page Background setting (the
dimensions and placement for that area being set also in the Inspector’s
“General Page” pane). Drawing what looks like a background is really only
drawing content. If you’re clever, you can make it look like a background -
though hardly worth the effort.

Also, Background Color and Background Image only work together if the image
has transparency (like a PNG) or doesn’t repeat and completely cover the
background color.

Again, I have no idea about your particular situation without first seeing
how FWP interpreted your direction - vis-a-vis, the generated page code.

Thank you for your input. I am attaching two pages; one is the way I would like it to look and the other is the problem page. The problem page was made from a copy of the good page’s master, the only difference (that I know of) is that I used a different background image.
