If you are comfortable with making custom tag styles and using the extended
tab of the Style Editor, then you can use this CSS method for fitting the
background image.
First, use the Inspector to set the background image, set the Horizontal to
Center and the Vertical to Top. Uncheck Background Scrolls.
Then use the Style Editor to create the Tag style “body” with the following
custom attributes:
when you go to the page, it shows black first then the image.
Is this the best it gets? If so, then I will pass on using Freeway;s Background SUpersizer action and maybe down the road learn how to do it flawlessly the way the better sites have it.
I think Dave said something about BSS setting the background color to
black, so what you are seeing is a delay in the background image loading.
Looking at your site, I suspect that is because the background image is
being loaded by the action-generated javascript well after the stylesheet
loads the background color. I could be wrong.
In any case, I don’t find it to be a horrible delay.

it seems whichever I make the first picture in the BG action, the SECOND one is getting split horizontally- it is not the picture, but for some reason the whichever is the second is getting messed up
