Is there any image quality control settings with background images in Freeway Pro?
I am importing a vector .ai file but it seems to be alot lower resolution than other .ai images (which I can control the quality of in the inspector panel) in the site when published.
Hi Danny, I’ve had this problem before with vector files (not specifically with bg images though - I didn’t know you could use a vector file for a bg image). I’ve ended up rasterizing them in Photoshop and exporting in a web ready format.
I think when something is used as a background image, it’s pass-through, meaning no resizing or resampling takes place within Freeway, so get it to your correct format before importing.

In that case, only Mac users (who have QuickTime deeply embedded in their browsers) can even see this image format at all. I have been so spoiled in the past by Safari that I have published a site with TIFF images in it, much to my clients’ horror…
