Happy Thanksgiving all
my question is this
is it possible to have a 100% banner (width of browser) without having to set page alignment to None. This creates a problem with the rest of the pages being set to none, as far as centering. I do know how to create the inline containers for the body elements, but this method does not work on some things.
My method was to make the banner very wide so that no matter what size one opens site. It holds well but on a mobile device, page bears left. I dont hold too much weight on the mobile viewing - just want to make sure I am doing the correct thing with this

Depends what you mean by Banner.

Full width graphic with text content? Something else?

Have you an example you want to emulate?

I have done a test site with pages set to none. Its difficult when it comes to product pages. I just wonder if I do it this way by forceing the stretch with browser is ok

Why not just use the image as a page background repeating horizontally?

when I do a background image and set to tile it does not stretch with browser

when alignment is centered. am I missing a simple step as I usually do

Add it to the Page - not the html item

With nothing selected on the FW page go into the inspector, 3rd Tab and set it there.

yes you mean inspector 2nd tab and import the image set to top and tile… yes I have done this in my first round but its too wide. I need it to be a narrower banner. This way takes up too much of page, although much easier. Is there a way to make height dimension shorter?

Of the banner? Crop the image height.

Sorry I was unclear Dave. I meant the image height and yes of course that is what I should have thought of…but of course I did not
