[Pro] best audio format?

Hi!
I am trying to put some audio samples on my site at http://www.lyra-sound.com/listen.html
I’ve put a single test one up using mp3, but discovered that Firefox on my Mac does not support mp3. I’m told that Internet Explorer does not support .wav files (!) Flash does not work with iOS…arrgh!

What is the best format to use to ensure the widest possible browser compatibility? Preferably without any code being involved-that’s why I bought Freeway!

I think using both mp3 and ogg in combination with HTML5 will solve this for you.

And… “The control attribute adds audio controls, like play, pause, and volume.”

I’ve not tried it myself yet, but it looks to me to be my a 5 minute job.
