The Roku XS I bought for my wife last year just died. Fortunately, I opted for the Walmart Extended Warranty, which I almost never do. My knee-jerk reaction was to pickup a new one last night, but low and behold we got home and that one was DOA.
Upon further consideration, and although I think the Roku did a fairly good job, I have a real problem with tech companies who only warrant their products for 90-days.
Having said that, I’m in the market for a new media player but I don’t know what to buy. We’ll mainly be using it to stream movies through a current generation Time Capsule.
I like the Apple TV too. Unfortunately, my wife is into a new service called Crunchy Roll, whatever the heck that is, and the Apple TV is not supported.
