[Pro] Browser issues

Hello, I have designed a music site in Freeway7 Pro. I seems okay in Safari. In Firefox the song titles disappear. In Internet Explorer 9 the tracks and song titles over lap, and the text below the CD Baby disappears. I tried setting compatible to Normal. I tried making sure all the elements have px values (rather than %s). I did this because I had issues with background elements loading wrong… px values fixed that. any ideas? Thanks.

I seems okay in Safari.

Depending on your default text size!

Go into Safaris View Menu and make sure that Zoom Text Only is checked.

Now use Cmd+ a couple of times to increase the text size - this will simulate how other Browsers and OS can render your site.

This is one of the pitfalls of using layered items in a non-inline construction.

Essentially each item on your ‘page’ is independent of each other - hence the overlap when text sizes are increased.

An inline construction would fix it (as would a non layered one - but that is old hat).

An alternative is to use the RPL action on your page.

BTW - have you looked at the page on an iPhone or mobile?

Thank you. Where can I find out about inline construction… I can not find any documentation in the instructions. If it is there in one of the many pdfs, please tell me the page. Because I can not use play buttons (like CDBaby), on small phones the title moves below the track. Will inline construction allow that?

On iPhones with Safari the page was loading fine, but I have made other changes since then.
