[Pro] can this happen (master Q)

Hi,

if you have a master and 20 pages working off the master, and add something to the master, is there a way to get it to only appear on 3 of those 20 pages?

Right now I have been adding it and then having to go and delete that item off the other 17 pages.

You could duplicate the master and make the necessary changes for those three, and then go to those three and re-assign them to the duplicate master. Then you will have to make any master changes that apply to all pages on both masters, but you won’t have to delete anything 17 times. Unfortunately, masters can’t be based on masters, which would be cool, and would completely solve your problem.
