[Pro] Cannot archive freeway file

Ever since I’ve started using the current Showcase version for a number of galleries on an artist’s website I’m working on, I’ve found that every time I try to Archive the freeway document to take to another computer to work on I get an error saying words to the effect: cannot archive this file because of a file error: (-48:53:1001) I tried on another computer with the same file and repeatedly have gotten the same result. Has anybody else had this problem? Does anybody know of a workaround or fix?

Usually this is related to corrupted resource files – images, mostly.
Try using the Edit / Resources → Resample All button. See if that
clears it up for you.

I did what you suggested but unfortunately it still comes up with the same “file error” message.

How large is the file? You might want to Zip it, and send it to
support(a)softpress.com (using Senduit if it’s larger than e-mail can
carry). They can surely figure out what’s going on in there.

Hi guys,

This is something that we’ve already come across and fixed internally. Unfortunately it’s going to be unavoidable if you have a number of Showcase items in your site (more than 12 I believe). For the time being you will need to manually gather the media files for the site; the client can then locate the images on the other end (if they’re all in one folder they only need to locate one of them and the rest should find themselves automatically).

Thanks Joe,

I suspected that it may have been the newness of Showcase that could be the problem. I hope the fixes come soon.
