The zip archive provided when purchasing had not been updated resulting in this problem due to some changes to OSX’s Gatekeeper in 10.9.5. The archive has been updated with FastSpring so if you download Exhibeo again using the link you were given or from http://exhibeoapp.com, it will run without this happening.
