I am rebuilding my website from scratch and an odd thing has started happening in Freeway that I haven’t noticed before.
I draw a graphic box, and once drawn it will not let me re-size. If I click on one of the points to enlarge or reduce the box it just moves the entire box and not the line I am clicked on.
Once this has happened, if I click inside the box to type text it doesn’t show a flashing cursor for typing. I can actually type but can no longer see when I want to select blocks of text etc.
All very strange.
Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Quit FW, restart your Mac and try again.

Then Quit FW - trash the FW preferences file, empty the trash and then do a restart.

The only other thing I can suggest - short of emailing support(at)softpress.com is to do everything else I have suggested and also trash the app itself and reinstall it after doing a restart.
What version of FW do you have and what OS are you using.

I’m using 10.8.2 on my Mac and Freeway 5.2.
It was working fine earlier today and just started doing it.
I’ll try the reinstall I suppose.

Are these items grouped by any chance? Grouped items can act mighty strange w/r/t resizing and moving.

You should update FW for Mountain Lion - currently at 5.6.5.
Wouldn’t surprise me if there were issues as ML is much newer than FW 5.2

Walter, some items are grouped on the page, though I can’t draw a graphic box anywhere and then resize it.
I will look for an update, David.
Trying allsorts but nothing is seeming to help the matter.

Okay, got it working again. For now.
I reinstalled and it did the same thing. So I copied the content of the page. Deleted what was there, and then pasted it back in and it worked.
Not sure what that changed but it did something.
