[Pro] Carousel 2 Display Order

What is the simplest way to change the “Running” order of the various Carousel 2 panes?

I have tried moving them around in the Page Pane and caused certain “Panes” to “merge”, they seemed to display correctly but i could not separate them in the Pasteboard area.

Thx

The order in playback is driven by the source-code order of appearance. The main element (the one you apply Carousel 2 to) will always be first, followed by all other Carousel 2 Pane elements in source order. You can change the order of elements in the source by shifting them up and down in stacking order with Send to Back or Bring to Front, or you can do this more visually in the Page pane.

Click the Site label at the top of the left column to change it to Page, or back again, then change the order by dragging elements up and down the list. Careful as you do – as you noticed, it is possible to nest one element in another while doing this. As you’re dragging an element, pay attention to which element in the page (or the page itself – what you really want) is highlighted and emboldened. That element will become the “parent” of the element when you stop dragging. Experiment with how you shift the element left and right with the mouse while you drag – this is how you change the parent.

Walter,

Thank You i have got that now…i think,

However noticed one strange thing, if pane 1 is always set (has the Carousel 2 Action) to get the required Pane in positon 2 i had to Send it to Back … is this how the stack is structured?

Back is first in source order, front is last. Two ways to look at this. First, try clicking the Site header so it becomes Page, and click on an element on the page. You will see the corresponding element light up in the list of elements as you do. Now use Send to Front or Back, and see where it ends up in the list. Second, try dragging in the list to do the same thing.
