Hi There, I have just upgraded to Freeway 6.0 and now I am experiencing all sorts of problems with existing websites. I use Carousel a lot and have now installed Carousel 2. Now all sites with Carousel on wont work and I cant seem to make Carousel 2 work, help please! Clients not happy :frowning:

Can you post a link to a broken example? Anything you created in 5.5 then opened in 6 has an auto back up of the 5.5 file for you to revert to, and you can run 5.5 and 6 side by side. Also I used Carousel 2 and FWP 6.02 yesterday with no problems.

Ok the current one is, this is using Carousel (original)

The old Carousel has just stopped working, so i have been trying to recreate it using Carousel 2, but can’t seem to make it work.

There have been comments on this forum that indicate that the only sure way to upgrade an Action is to Delete it first from the Library>Applications Support>Freeway Pro>Actions.General, and then install the new updated version of Carousel 2.

So you may not be operating with the new version.

Hi Simon, thank you for this, how did you create it then as for some reason I can’t get to grips with this today!! Up until now i have drawn and HTML item, inserted a graphic box within that, then duplicated them, group it, then select carousel.

the Freeway file is there for you to download, you draw an html box insert graphic and duplicate carousel 2 action for the first box and carousel 2 pane for subsequent boxes.

Hi Simon, just worked it out, thank you so much as I have several other sites I now need to update to the new action.
