I’ve got problems with the Carousel Action. I have drawn my main HTML box to a size of 574px x 342px and in side that I have drawn another HTML box 524px x 226px. I have made 11 copies of this original.
I have applied the Carousel Action to the main outer HTML box made, entered text into the inner HTML box. I have subsequently added the Carousel Pane Action to the remaining HTML boxes, with text in the inner boxes.
If you click on the link, you’ll see the problem. What have I done wrong and how do I fix it.

P.S. I made a clean, fresh page. Entered the same details but with only 4 panes and it worked a treat.
Make sure that all of your panes are precisely the same dimensions – height and width and padding. The Action calculates the total width of the slider by multiplying the width (or height, in a vertical application) of the first pane by the number of panes. No support is provided for variation in these dimensions. Make sure also that each of your panes has its height set to a specific number of pixels. There is a setting in Freeway that allows all HTML boxes to auto-adjust their height – I have this set to off here, because I want the setting of a variable-height box to be a deliberate and considered action.

Thanks for your reply. ALL the panes have the same dimensions, both in height and wdth - 574px x 342px outer and 524px x 226px inner. None of the panes have any padding in them.

Click on one of the panes, and look in the Inspector at the height control. If it appears “grayed out” compared with the other settings, click on the icon to the left of the field. The height should become a dark solid number, and any height you set there should be published into the HTML. What I noticed when I looked at your carousel was that the panes did not appear to be the same height or width as one another.

Nope, they can be anything you like, they don’t get re-assigned in the page layout at all.

Remove the RPL Action from the page, see if it works then. If it does, then you can re-apply RPL to the page, and add Remove from RPL to each element (carousel and panes) of the effect.
