[Pro] carousel under transparent PNG?

Just trying something different with no success…

I created a small vertical carousel in the middle of the page and it works great… Now, I place a full-page, black png file over it with a transparent feathered hole in the middle.

The idea here is to have a simulated spotlight effect with the carousel images coming in and out of the “light”. (actually moving under the PNG file)

Its not working and I’m wondering if this is just not possible or if Im doing something wrong.

Thanks for any thoughts
Dave

Are you trying to click on the controls “through” this PNG image? That
won’t work. You can move the controls above your PNG and then it
should work just fine.

Thanks walter… actually I have it on auto-glide, so no controls.

Hmmm… I’ll keep at it then since you say it can be done.

I can see the background through the hole, but no carousel images… and carousel works fine before I place the PNG file over it.

It is worth mentioning here how you sorted the problem so that others that come after with a similar issue can get some guidance.
