Using 5.4.2 and the Action dated 3/2/10.
I’ve been over the instructions web page several times and can get the Action to work only sometimes. But a couple things seem to be happening that might be making my results inconsistent.
I am trying to create my Caxton Action Items on a master page, on the pasteboard. Is this OK?
I have tried making only Caxton Action Item, and making more than one on the Master Page. Is it OK to have more than one?
I have created Text Style sheets choosing the relevant font sets, one per font. Is it OK to apply the @fontface font through a Style Sheet?
- Sometimes, the Font chosen in the Action Palette reverts back to Proportional instead of the @fontface font.
- The fonts chosen never preview correctly in the Action Items. I see on the instructions page that the Action Item should be showing the font as if previewing. Mine don’t!
- Caxton Action fonts apply sometimes, and sometimes not. And by apply, I mean they preview in Freeway, and in Firefox, but then I’ll make some change to some other item not having anything to do with any of the Caxton font items, and the problems recur.
Do problems 1 or 2 suggest what I’m doing wrong, or what FW might be unhappy about? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
