I’m new to Freeway Pro. I have been playing around with Hype 3. I created a simple one-page website using Hype: http://www.everblaze.com/evr/evr.html. Hype allows you to create different layouts based on device size breakpoints.
I assume, same layout - adjusted to different sizes to be more precise.
I’m trying to recreate this page using Freeway. I was able to get a background graphic to to fill the full width/height of the browser window. However, I can’t figure out how to get the logo PNG to stay in the center of the browser window. The text I am adding is also in PNG format and needs to be centered on the page.
7.1+ required:
Create a page. Center this page. Apply an image to the window background dialogue. Play with the settings e.g. center/center and cover. Place items on your page and play with those settings as well. Basically they will stay center cause they’re child-items of the page (PageDiv). This should take you just a minute, so ten times faster than me writing this down.
PNG text is a no-go - preserved for amateurs.
####A grab from your other post:
Is there a way to Undo more than one step? It only allows me to Undo (command+z) one action. Is there a setting somewhere to allow multiple steps?
Beware us of this discussion - it is only one CMD-Z.
The better you know your app and the things web design requires, the less you need this feature. Never use Freeway for layout purposes. Start Freeway after finishing the design process. Swallow the basics which are well documented. Start slow and try to get the gist.
I’m also curious if anyone has experience creating Hype elements and incorporating them into Freeway.

Everything and even more can be embedded in Freeway, it’s just the deal with external resources and the knowledge of “where” to put “what”.
Hype is nice (in fact I don’t like it - but that’s my personal brew) for creating a “specific” part or function of your page. I’d never think about creating an entire project with it. And I doubt, that it is “really” easier.
