[Pro] Code for Page Loaders

Hi,

I am trying to include a page loader (little spinny thing) on the pages of my site which have a gallery/slideshow set up, this is for loading images not forms.
Freeway support suggested I include the pageloader behind my images and use the Transition FX action. Which works but also means that each time the viewer enters the page they have to wait, where as normally once the page loads the first time it then works fine.
So…
I am wondering if anybody knows of a simple code that I can incorporate into the pages. I am new to web design but up for a challenge.
Thanks,
Pam

Hi Pam,

Try removing the Transition FX Action. That way, if the images take a while to load the loader will be visible, and if not then it won’t.

Hi Joe,

Will the image outlines still be visible, they are at the moment when it is trying to load, along with the Alt Text.

Thanks for all your help

Ah yes, good point. Try setting Delay and Duration to 0 and the image should appear once it has loaded.
