Hi Kelly
I find Showcase to be pretty straightforward and easy to use. Putting this artist’s portfolio together was a snap:

You’ll see I also threw in a Carousel for good measure ![]()

I have a simple gallery using the clients colour scheme all tucked away in some tabs near the bottom

Derek, I looked at your gallery on an iPhone and the enlarged images couldn’t be seen - they were off the page. Not sure if that’s an iPhone issue but might be worth having a look yourself on an iPhone.

Very nice website Nathan. Well done. May I ask what you’re using to achieve the popup images on this page?

Thanks Kelly
I’m using moo tools Slimbox - it works pretty well but does conflict with the Scripty actions that built into freeway. I’m only using moo tools as I needed multiple images in each pop up and the Scripty lightbox only allows for 1 image per pop up

Hi Nathan
Thanks for the heads-up! Everything looks OK on my iPhone. The images only show up off the page when I’ve zoomed in, which would seem to make sense. Could that be what you were experiencing?

Hi Derek,
That should be fixed in 5.6.2.

Thanks, Joe. I’ve just republished with 5.6.2, and when zoomed in the popup image is huge - far lareger than will fit on the screen. When I zoom out again, the image resizes, recenters and looks fine. Is that what is supposed to happen?

Is there anyway to change the size of the thumbnails and large image?

You’re right Derek, at 100% it’s fine.
Another under the hood benefit of using the latest version.
Kelly, with moo tools slimbox, you create the thumbnail in FW so you can have it any size you want. The larger image can be any size you want.
With FW showcase you can choose your sizes too.

I can’t seem to figure out how that is done. Is there a tutorial someplace that describe sizing?

if thee has the Showcase Application open and on the desk. … is the Inspector showing ?? because , if it ain’t, you are not going to see where to make image size changes. it’s just NOT there - without an Inspector.
you will find it under the “View” pull down menu. which then it will show us the Inspector, then you see (hopefully) the Inspector has three sections, of which the left-most one is going to make you very happy.
