Does Crowbar work with FWP 6?

As far as I know, yes, but I have not made any changes to it or tested it thoroughly. I had two different reports of an alert message popping up during publishing that claimed that the code was not added, but when I tested it here, I found that the code was actually being added correctly.

So do you think I would be foolish to take an existing site and upgrade it to Freeway Pro 6? I’m assuming the app has been properly vetted, but perhaps not.

The reason I ask is I have a client who has requested several edits and a new page and I figured I might as well become familiar with FWP 6 since it does represent the future.

I suppose I could always make a backup, just in case.

Freeway 6 will make a backup for you, and I would encourage you to try it out, naturally publishing into a new site folder so you can go completely back and recover your previous work if needed. I imagine that if you opened up an existing document in Freeway 6, and published it right away (without any new changes), you might see an error from Crowbar, but you probably won’t. You might see other things that don’t add up – inline Markup Items have issues with being resized, for example – but there’s very little that’s a complete show-stopper, and whether you run into it or not has more to do with your document than anything else.
