[Pro] css menu links

I am new to Freeway Pro. I have prepared a css menu and linked the appropriate pages. When I preview in Safari I can click a link and it goes well. But then when I try to click another link in the same menu nothing happens. Each time I preview the same thing happens with various menu links. Any ideas?

Do you have the CSS menu on a Master page and are you creating the links in the Master menu item.

If so and if you then check on each individual page and select the menu item then look in the Inspector and see if you have the Use Master Content and Use Master Settings boxes ticked.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked these things and they seem to be correct. Yet, I seem to be digging the hole deeper:) Now after tweaking, certain submenus are not active and a few other odd things. Would it be better at this point to delete the css menu and try again from scratch…that is, leaving the pages as is and just redoing the menu?

Or reapply the Master which has the CSS Menu on it.

Be sure to select and cut to the pasteboard any page specific content so that you can paste it back in after reapplying the Master.

Normally I would also delete any Master based items on the child as well. This avoids you ending up with duplicates.

I have everything almost working now. The only problem I have is when I click on a submenu (under Tasks) I can follow the link once, but when I try to naviagte around and go back, the two lower submenu items blank out and only the first is available. I have tried to check the properties of each and can’t find out what is wrong. Thanks!

It seems to me it only happens on pages that have scroll bars on the center content area.

Maybe the drop down menu is going under something on those pages.

Could be a layering problem.

Then I suspect that on the page you land on after clicking the link the sub menu/menu settings/links are not correct.
