[Pro] CSS Menu z-index Freeway 5.4.1 bug?

I’ve noticed that the latest Version of Freeway has broken our site:

We have an inline CSS menu applied to a div followed by an inline div containing a FX animation.

Prior to 5.4.1 the sub menus dropped down “in front” of the animation, post 5.4.1 the menus drop down "behind the menu.

It should be a simple job to pop in the menu div z-index:266 as a fix but Freeway does not allow it.

It looks like the CSS Menu action is automatically applying a z-index:1 to the Menu div (if said div is inline). It can’t be overidden using the extended panel (if said div is inline)

The only fix for now is to edit the HTML after publishing the site.

Hi David,

Select the item named “banner” and make the z-index of it 0 (using the
Extended dialog). That will force it and its children (the rotating
images) to appear behind index 1.

Cheers,

Joe

Of course that’s fixed it. Thanks. I assume something had changes in
5.4.1?

Anyone else in a similar situation should double check their site - I
missed it for 24hours hours making the site un-navigable from the home
page.
