Hey all I am making CSS menu but do not want the border or shadow on submenu. I unchecked the border and dividers but there is a pop up list with border & shadows. I would like it simple - no border or anything… please point me in the right direction. thanks so much

Well, when I uncheck borders and dividers I get nothing, just text. Is that what you want? You’re unchecking these and still getting a border?

Hmmm…did you uncheck Use Main Menu Settings? Maybe it’s picking it up from that.

Weird. There must be something else going on.
Usually, at this point I start taking apart my page. Is the menu on top of something? I assume you’re not using a background image on anything.
Can you send me the file? I’m no pro, but I can take a look.
Let me know what version you’re using. I have 5 and 5.5.

Can you email the Freeway file?
I know the feeling. Sometimes it just takes another pair of eyes to look at it.

Ok that is weird I made a test page and copied the same menu on that and it works fine no borders. I added the menu on a test page on another website. It could have picked up the action from another menu???

Maybe it was conflicting with another action or something.
At least you got it working!

Did you add some code to your page? Perhaps the code from another thread that adds shadows to CSS menus submenus? Take a look in the Page>HTML Markup menu.
