[Pro] CSS Submenu Hides behind Show/Hide layer

I’m starting to lose my mind. After much playing around with z-index I’m still at a loss. How can I ensure the menu resides overtop of the Show/Hide layer elements?

Any advice would be helpful. I’m using Freeway 7. The site is being built using Backdraft 2.1

On which page(s)? Not sure which show/hide elements you are referring to.

Strange, I seems to have the same problem (without a show/hide element): http://panbila.com/test/nl/welkom.html
Can this be the same problem?

I swapped-out the over-under header wrapper with the modern header wrapper and nolonger have an overlap issue.

Frustrating though - many hours spent banging my head against the wall. Not sure why it didn’t work but don’t have to time to delve deeper. Suffice it to say I tried everything I could think of and no amount of z-index tweaking, CSS positioning and testing for possible action conflicts helped.

Overflow: visible required on your nav containers

Yeah, tried that too. The sub-menu overlapped the container holding the show/hide layer element… but the elements themselves refused to duck under - even when I played with the overflow settings.

That answer was really directed to Bart for his particular instance.

Thanks Dave,

This solved my problem. I hope someone can find a solution for Oscar.

Best regards,
Bart
