[Pro] Custom Scroller with Moo Slideshow

Hi all,

I’m trying to set up a page which includes both a Moo Slideshow and a custom scrollbar (using the dom-drag.js method). For some reason they’re not willing to sit with each other on the same page. They work fine on there own.

Test link…
http://www.roarimage.com/uploads/pay/product1.html

Firebug highlights…
Drag.init(document.getElementById(“scroller”),null,0,0,-1,scroller.scrollDist);

Is there something I can do to sort this out, I’m not really a coder although feel it might be a conflict of some sort??

thanks in advance,
Scott

Yep, the two javascript libraries are competing. As an alternative to the dom-drag.js I found this link on a mootools variety. Does require some coding though…

What about Walt’s scroll bar. Example Scroll Element

I have just played around with it and it seems to work fine with the Fading Slide show action

Scott, the image on your test page looks familiar http://tandiventer.com/prints/animal5.html

That also uses Scriptaculous which doesn’t play nice with Moo

Thanks for the replies, I might see if I can decypher chuckamuck’s option.

Helveticus, yep, thats were I took a screen grab to use as a test bed for the image transitions. Needless to say I will not be using it on the final site.

Thanks,
Scott
