[Pro] Customize Toolbar

Is anyone else with me in wishing SAVE and UPLOAD were available in the Customize Toolbar items?

As common as these functions are, it surprises me they aren’t provided.

You may have a point, but I fail to see why Command-S for Save and Command-U for Upload aren’t adequate. They’ve been there since Freeway 1, and won’t be going anywhere soon.

The Mac OS has always supported keyboard shortcuts. Keyboard shortcuts are for power users. I rue the day when the Microsoft habit of toolbar buttons for everything became the norm on the Mac.

Make that 10001

I’ve just been trying to help my wife do something usually trivial, but on her PC in Word!

Keyboard commands for those who like them.

Buttons for those who like them.

With customization of the keyboard, the former don’t even have to see buttons.

More than one way to do something has nothing to do with Winduhs.

Choice. It’s the Macintosh way.

I disagree. Keyboard shortcuts are the Macintosh way. ;o)

Whatever the Mac Way is, if you don’t like buttons you don’t have to use them. They do absolutely nothing to the way you want to use your Mac. You don’t even have to see them.

For some of us, motion limitation in one or both hands makes keyboard shortcuts very inconvenient. Yes, we can mouse to a menu selection, but a button would be so much easier.
