I want to learn another website development program that uses templates, primarily for clients who cannot afford a custom designed website using FWP.
The most appealing options to me are WordPress and Joomla? Are there any other forum members who have taken this approach and if so, what is your development platform preference?
If the goal is building a site quickly with minimal effort from you with plug-n-play functionality that’s also relatively easy for the client to use then of those two options I’d say WP is the better choice. But good luck if the client starts asking you to redesign things.

Yes and no. They recently updated the product (like, yesterday) so my
attempts with it have been spurious. Also, I have some real-life issues
that have put my ability to continue using it at issue. But I am pretty
confident that I can replicate my designs with it.
The developer’s license I have is $20 a month – if you think you’d be
interested in trying it, I could share my account info with you. Then if
you like it, maybe we could work out an alternative to me canceling my
account. Contact me off list if you are.

It certainly looks like a fascinating tool and well worth trying for a WP user (Kelly, you listening?).
Thanks for the offer but since I only have the one WP site (which will be moved) I don’t really have a need for this right now, despite how interesting it seems.

Ernie, do you have a link to any sites you designed using Page Lines?
No, unfortunately I do not. All I’ve done is experiment with it, and the
site I would have shown was overwritten by the update.
I would say that even though it’s “drag n drop” I still think it’s an
advanced tool. Right now it seems only to work on Chrome. Download and try
the demo.
