[Pro] Differing HTML text colours

I’ve produced a full page of HTML text. It’s a list of recommended tradesmen in our area and the various trade headings I’ve made upper case red and the tradesmen in sentence case black.

Most of the heading have come out red in Page and Preview mode but a couple of them persist in showing black when I preview and preview in browser even though the Inspector shows them clearly in red. All other parameters in the Inspector seem the same as the other headings. Any ideas anyone?

Further to my earlier cry for help, I’ve just noticed that

(a) one of the items in the list, altho’ set to black in the Inspector is showing up red in preview and

(b) one of the HTML boxes (items) altho’ set to ‘Fix box to content’ is showing as too small in preview. It has a 1 pixel border round it and the bottom border cuts across the text. I’ve set the page to 3000 pixels high so that users (old folk can scroll down the list for several screens instead of hopping from page to page using links.

Thanks Dave. Here’s the link

I’ve sort of solved the text colour problem. Something to do with conflicting styles applying to the first two headings, ‘AERIAL FITTERS’ and ‘BUILDERS’

The other problem involves the HTML items containing the text which is the two columns. I tried putting a border around each column but in Preview mode, the column spills over at the bottom of the boxes.

in Preview mode, the column spills over at the bottom of the boxes.

If you select the container that holds the first column of text and click on the Up/Down arrow next to the height box this will then make that HTML container Undefined in height. The grab points top and bottom will turn red.

What this means is that it will then expand to suit the amount of text inside and your border will grow with it.

Thanks Dave. You came through for me yet again. I might just try to adopt you.
