[Pro] direct link to images

I was having an issue with my 404 page. When you set it up using GoDaddy’s 404 page tool it indicates a hard link to the location of the artwork but when a user burrows down one level and mistypes a url, the images can’t be found.

I fixed this by adding markup items and placing direct links on the page. The problem is that Freeway changes the filenames of images when it builds a site. I had to do a QuickLook through a zillion images in the Resources folder in order to find the actual filenames of the images.

Isn’t it possible to instruct Freeway to use an absolute link when placing an image (or when creating graphic text)?

Thanks

Hi Trey,
There are several ways to do this including using the Remote Resources Action which rewrites the paths to the resources on the page as absolute links;

For a text link there is the ‘Link to File’ action or the alternate ‘Graphic Link to File’ action.
