[Pro] Disable Smooth scroll anchor

I have the smooth scroll action applied to my page, which in turn has several anchors on the page.

I wish to link to an anchor half way down the page, but DO NOT wish this to use the smooth scroll, but instead jump to that point on my page.

Can this method be employed on my page?

many thanks

Yes. The Action has a special exemption written into it to exclude Carousel controls, so you could take advantage of that loophole to exclude as many links as you like. On the link that you want to behave like a normal anchor, highlight the link text (or click on the graphic that holds the link) and open the Hyperlink dialog. Click the Extended button and then New. In the resulting sub-sub-dialog, enter the following:

  • Name: class
  • Value: carousel

Okay out of the teetering stack of dialogs and preview. You should see the link “snap” down to meet its anchor.
