I’ve created a simple flash slideshow using BannerZest Pro. It displays correctly in Firefox, but not in Safari:

Does anybody know why?

It also appears to display correctly in IE7 but not IE8.

You mean it is displaced on the page in safari.
How did you construct this page - it appears to be a mix of CSS and non CSS items

Yes, it is very much displaced on the page. It’s an inline box model, and I constructed everything with the CSS button on. With regard to the actual slide show, I inserted a Markup item inside an HTML box. The code for the Markup box is generated by BannerZest Pro.
I’m using a similar setup on this site:

As you can see, the center slide show isn’t displaced, and displays correctly in all browsers (of which I am aware).

Any particular reason to do it via a markup. Why not just use the BZ swf in FW

I’ll take a stab here and say that BZ is BannerZest

I’m using BannerZest Pro, but BZ publishes all the files directly to the server and then provides you with a code to copy and integrate into your site via markup language.
What is the best way to ‘manually’ add the BZ swf into FW?

This from the BZ (Aquafadas) website
‘Publish in a single swf file for an ultra professional finish. (PRO only)’
If this is the case then that single swf file can be dragged/dropped/imported into your FW doc.

Just published a single SWF file, imported it into FW and it produced the very same results. It displays perfectly in FF, but is displaced on the page in Safari. Ugh! Perhaps I need to get the folks at BZ to take a look at the page.

Then I can only assume that it is to do with your page construction.
Try your Flash file in the div but not within a table construction ie as the only item in the div
