[Pro] DISQUS and Freeway Question

Hi all,

My DISQUS board is working just fine with my Freeway site.

However, I went to change the name of the SITE page in freeway that the DISQUS board is on and when I reuploaded and checked it, all the messages were gone and it started fresh at zero. I was able to get it back by changing the webpage name back.

My question is… is there a way to change the name of the webpage, but keep the DISQUS board and all its comments there from when the page had a slightly different name?

Go into your Disqus account at disqus.com and then into Admin>Tools>Migrate Threads

Once in there you can use the URL Mapper to upload a csv file that contains the URL of the old and new pages in the following format

http://example.com/old-path/old/posta.html, http://example.com/new-path/new/posta.html

Dave,

do you think the DOMAIN MIGRATION WIZARD

will do it for me?

All I want to do is change the name of the web page (thus URL) that my comment board is on.

It is just another way of accessing the same thing

The critical thing is the filenames/paths

ie

http://www.hoffkids.com/commentsnewhoffk.html, http://www.hoffkids.com/newpagename.html

Ignore the leading < if looking at the web forum
