[Pro] Does Freeway Pro have an iPhone simulator per se?

What/where is the iPhone simulator? Someone mentioned it in a forgotten posting herein and I wondered about it as I am trying to recreate my web site(s) for iPhones.

Not built into the Freeway application. But if you have installed Xcode (Apple’s free developer tool kit) you will have access to the iOS simulator, which lets you run Mobile Safari directly in a skeuomorphic “frame” so you see precisely what an iOS user would see – in multiple device sizes and orientations. When you click the mouse, you see a large circle showing where the “finger” touched the glass. When you click (with or without modifiers) and drag, you get the same physics you would while flicking, pinching, un-pinching or sliding.

This is useful - I’ve just started using xcode for testing a Hype job and its invaluable. You can get it direct from the app store by the way. Frustratingly it only allows me to check my site in iOS7 and from experience with mobile safari, the same fonts display differently in iOS6 and 7, throwing parts of my site out. I understand there’s a way round it though but can’t recall here.

Also use the excellent Browserstack site for full device and Android checks.

Thank you Walt, I also just found that if I use the “Preview in Browser” that is built into Freeway by going to
File>Preview in Browser>iPhone Simulator, it works well.
And WOW, is it ever a sobering view, not that I have been imbibing today or this month for that matter.

Walt, I have had the Xcode for a long time. However I just looked at Safari’s menu bar under “DEVELOP” and see nothing that matches what you have told me.
