[Pro] Drag and Drop woes

Hi All,

Just bought Intaglio as I wanted something to replace Illustrator my CS (1) version is not working properly for some reason and although I’ve used it for more years than I care to remember I’ve never liked it I find it infuriating sometimes.

In the Ad blurb on the Intaglio part of the SP site it says that one can drag and drop straight into FW - Well it don’t for me?

FW 5.5 Pro, Snow Leopard

Well - while you´re here in the Intaglio part of the Freewaytalk I can´t help with your Freeway question, because I don´t have it. Just a guess though:

You don´t try to drag&drop between these apps don´t you? That won´t work from what I can tell - but I think copy&paste could work or drag&drop from any place you saved your image - as I can drag any image supported format directly into Intaglio.

Regards

Frank

Hi Frank,

Yes I was dragging and dropping from Intaglio’s app to the FW app. All I got was an empty box in FW :o[

I’ll try the copy and paste I want FW to retain transparency but just turns everything into a jpeg anyway I’ll see.

Thanks for that Frank I’m enjoying Intaglio it’s got some nifty bits in it that are great I’m intending it to become the replacement to Adobe Illustrator now I’ve had a good play

I´ll gave it a go with the demo of FW. Seems jpg is the interim exchange file format here - but if you save to png and drag it onto a FW
image frame it preserves the alpha channel - if this is what you´re after.

Cheers

Intaglio drawings display in Freeway when they’re dragged and dropped from the Finder.
