In FW7 I’m tinkering around with responsive designs and noticed that if I use Exhibeo’s Slide view on a page - the size is fixed. Meaning it doesn’t respond to the window size dynamically. It does respond to the device breaks, but never shrinks.
I tried other types of Exhibeo outputs on the exact same setup and they do respond, but of note they render in Lightbox type fashion so I think that’s why…
Maybe a fixed size is standard for Slideview?
Maybe I’m missing something fundamental?
Any explanation? (screenshot of simple test attached)
How is this done? Was it accomplished with multiple breakpoint/sizes (i.e. responsive) - or is there another way to get it to resize automatically with the window in Freeway?
Someone was over in the FW forum area also interested in this.
I would be interested too in how one can make SLIDE responsive.
With FW7 a „must have“, or? ;).
Just yesterday I client asked for it and I replied only in a non-responsive website.
Is it a very big deal to hack the Exhibeo CSS code, Ernie? Just curious.
Or is this maybe planned in a very (soon?) future update of Exhibeo?
Which I would prefer!
Sorry if I am being thick here, but is there a way to put an Exhibeo Slide themed show into a FWPro 7 page so it is responsive without using BackDraft?
And if there is a way, can someone please explain a recipe/step-by-step how to do it? I have my exhibeo slide show ready to go, but it won’t resize in the layout like anything else will. Does it have to put in a container that resizes? If so, how?
If not, is BackDraft the only way to do it?
What is the best way if the Exhibeo file is ready to go?
