[Pro] easiForm problem

I’ve created a form using the easiform actions and followed the instructions as to setting a style for the ‘error’ box and ‘easicaptcha’ box but this seems to get ignored and defaults to 1px sized text. I can read the text in Safari but not in Firefox or on iOS…changing the size of the font in the style has no effect… I’d appreciate any suggestions!

Hi Seth,
If you type a space in the cell you have applied the easiCaptcha to and republish the site it should sort the issue.

Freeway sets a default style to cells it thinks are empty, a cell that Freeway has an action applied to a cell Freeway thinks is empty. This has been the case since FW 3.5 or 4 and still hasn’t been sorted, Freeway should know when an action has been applied to a table cell that it creates but still sadly it doesn’t.

Let me know how you get on.

Great, worked like a charm… I have one more question.
I want to create a file upload in the form, I added the ‘make file upload’ action and and the ensiform element action to a text input field. It shows up on the form and you can select a file to upload but it does not get attached to the email. Is there a way to get this to work?

Seth,
You can’t upload files with easiForm and you need easiForm to use easiCaptcha.

I have often thought about allowing file upload with easiForm but it opens a whole a can of worms with server security, sorry.

Mike Brackenridge

A question for Mike Brackenridge please, re easicaptcha… and linklokme…
Linklokme was recently updated on my website, (barrybickel.com.au) associated with pdfs I have there for purchase using Mals ecommerce (transcriptions.html). The update included facility to add a watermark to inhibit file sharing the pdfs.

My host PHP version had to be updated to 5.5 to enable the watermarking to work, however, my contact.php page then would not display.

The error message indicated that the problem was with the easicaptcha file, re the PHP version specified there.

Here is the error message:-

[17-Jul-2015 03:58:52 UTC] PHP Fatal error: The file/home/barrybic/public_html/easiCaptchaM_a.php was encoded by the ionCube Encoder for PHP 4 and cannot run under PHP 5.5.
Please ask the provider of the script to provide a version encoded with either the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.3 or for PHP 5.4 in Unknown on line 0

Thank you in advance for a solution. My contact details are on my website if that is a better way of communicating.
