[Pro] Exploding inline layouts

OK, here’s the scenario:

You’ve just pasted an item (or set of items contained in one html box) into your beautifully crafted inline layout, and…

POW! The whole thing goes bezerk with the item and any container boxes now measuring over 32,000 pixels in width.

Anyone else had this? Anyone know why? I suspect that pasting a box too wide for the gap you’ve left for it has something to do with it.

Ian, is the whole layout breaking or just the div wrapping it?

It tends to be the box being pasted and any successive parent boxes that enclose it. I’ll try to capture a broken layout if it happens again, and save it for reference, including screen shots.

It is possible to renter the correct widths for all exploded boxes to get the layout back as it should be, but this can be a challenge sometimes!
