How do I add a Facebook Activity Feed to my home page?

I have tried these instructions several times and I cannot get it to work. When I go to the actions panel, there is already the URL for softpress in there. When I enter any URL for my customer’s web sites I get all sorts of random things appearing in the facebook activity panel. Is there something else which needs to be done in facebook itself for this to work?
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of instructions available about this, even the softpress knowledgebase doesn’t tell you that you have to go to the facebook page and copy and paste the URL into the box on the [facebook like box] - this is obviously different from what is required in the activity feed action, I’ve had to figure it all out myself but it appears I must have missed something along the way.

Hi David, thanks for your reply and offer to help. Here’s the link to the page which doesn’t seem to have any streaming data on it (1st link) and I’ll also include a link to one I’ve installed doing the exact same process, which works. (2nd link)

I think the issue here is that there is no recent activity to display in the body benefits one. Try posting something to the Facebook page and you it should appear in the activity feed.

Hi Joe, thanks for your suggestion. I thought of that myself, so last night I put a post on it but it still never updated. Also, the second link for Sunshine Walkies wasn’t all that new either, so that doesn’t figure. I’m baffled.

I think it’s only the posts that the page makes that are displayed – the last one of which was in June. The other one’s last post was in September. I just liked the page and that displayed almost instantly so it’s definitely doing something

lol - I must be losing the plot. I can’t see your like on either the FB page OR the feed - unless you removed it - and anyway, I did the same as you, I liked the page AND posted something on it. As you said, it might be just when the owner adds something. I’ll need to get her to do this.
ps. I also reset Safari, in case you suggest that.

I clicked on your links and it looks as though you solved your problem. How did you do it? I am having the exact same problem with it only showing “No recent activity to display.”
