[Pro] fixed header...

Hi, im fairly new to freeway and still learning… Basically one of my clients wants the top menu bar at the top of the page to stay fixed in its position as you scroll through the site.

Here is the site: http://www.nataliecoyle.com
Could someone give me some simple instructions on how to do so that would be great.

Cheers
Seb

Not with your current construction.

As your bg image includes the bg to your menu bar if you used Position:fixed on your ‘menu’ div then it would stay at the top but the bg would not.

Select your menu div and look in the inspector under the First Tab options are Absolute (default) and Fixed in Window

Try it.

once wrapped one way (or the way?) to do here:

The menu bg (as David meant) could be applied to the very first box as background-image (inspector second tab). Cut that out of the current bg monolith (10px wide would be enough and let it tile horizontal). Follow the screencast to apply all the rest.

Hope this helps you out.

Cheers
