Is there a way to add an alternative non-Flash banner to a site?
I have Easy Web Animator, which is good (and very slow on my 2009 Mac Mini) but only produces SWF files. I also have BannerZest which is good and produces a non-Flash alternative.
So, how do I get an alternative banner to show if I’ve been using Easy Web Animator?
The alternative would be to go for Motion Composer as this produces HTML5 content too but at £109, it’s a bit expensive.
Easy Web will produce QTime, but you export them if I recall, not save movie. Sorry, been a while.

How do I get Freeway to show the alternative if the browser will not support Flash?
Hi Kevin,
So does the original Swiffy conversion file play OK or is that broken? As I say of the tests I did with EWA SWFs some worked perfectly, some sort of worked and others (mainly the more complex ones) looked completely broken.
Regards,
Tim.
I tried this when your post first came out. I didn’t need a conversion yet, just an experiment/trial, I may have only tried the Google web site.
The result was that the video opens with a splash of letters (random fall into) forming a sentence at the top of the implosion pieces of the letters got ‘stuck’ as the movie played on.
I will try this again later in both methods later today.

Is it the same when you open the Swiffy generated HTML file directly in your browser?
